@shylamarie really? I'm going to call them and ask if I can get it soon just to get it over with. Is it true that you have to take the pill first before you get it or no? My friends mom was trying to "school" me on it all but I didn't understand
Yeah. The day after my daughter was born, we were still in the hospital. The doctor asked me if I was planning on having sex before my 6 week appointment, and I said maybe, so she said I can get the implant, so I got it put in same day. I didn't have to take anything prior. I just got the implant in and I love it! I did bleed for 11 weeks straight after, but other than that it's great!

I think you discuss it with your doc to get it set up at your 6 week post partum check up.
