So I stopped taking my birth control about a week ago after being on it for 3 yrs. I want to see how my body can hold up without it plus I'm trying to loose weight but IM NOT. I only started taking it for my heavy periods and cramps. But the past year I been feeling different. Weird. I want my body back! Has anyone else ever experienced going off the pill after so long???

I took bc for 2yrs at most I think. It made me feel awful. At 20 I stopped and haven't gone back.

I’m on it again now, but I was on it consistently for 12-13 years straight before getting pregnant with my son. I know that’s a much longer amount of time, but it took over a year just for my periods to come back. They stopped after I quit taking it (strange, I know!). I never gained weight on it, so there’s nothing I can really say about that part!

Yes the first year only if I took it like clock work it seemed to make a good difference in my body but now my breast are always sore, my hair on my body still grows crazy fast. Cramps are starting to come back hard. AND I never lost weight only gained a little. Dr. Told me I shouldn't gain weight.😕

I was on the pill for about 16 years before I went off of it. Other than my periods becoming irregular, I didn't notice much of a difference in me.

I was on the pill 2 separate times. The first time I was on it for 4 years and when I went off of it I felt completely different, I never realized how much bc changed me, it changed who I was personality wise. I went on it again after I had my son to prevent getting pregnant any time soon and it made me feel awful. Constant migraines and mood swings, I hated it.
