Question:
My sister is 34 weeks and is having (what she thinks is) Braxton Hicks. But, she just called me crying and out of breath. I told her that if she's having any sort of pain that hurts enough to take her breath away and she has to stop what she's doing to focus, then she needs to go in and get checked.
After talking her into it, she's going into be seen now.
Did any of you have super painful Braxton hicks? I didn't at all. Could it be gas?

I don’t think gas would be that painful. I got a really bad uti when I was 33 weeks pregnant it was so painful I couldn’t breath either. Now when I was in labor I could breath I just chose not to 😂 but also when I had my Braxton Hicks I was very very out of breath. So it really sounds like it could be any one of those things. Depending on the kind of pain

Normally, they say if you can't talk through a contraction it's time to go in.

Honestly she could be going into early labor. I had a friend go into labor at 26 weeks. They had to stop it, but I’m glad you talked her into going in! Let us know how it goes!!

Just a couple weeks ago I woke up to super bad stomach/back pains that literally almost had me screaming. I went to the hospital just to be safe even though I was fairly sure it wasn’t labor. Turns out it was reeeeallly bad food poisoning.
Always better to go get checked if the pain is intense! Hope she and baby are okay!

She was dehydrated and looks as if she has a UTI. She also went I the pumpkin patch yesterday and they think she over did it

@jennatess, oh poor momma! I’m glad everything’s okay! With my daughter if I overdid it like that my blood pressure would always be high! Tell her to get some good rest!

@jennatess, I know exactly how she feels then. Uti pain is NO joke I could hardly stand up and I needed a wheel chair in the hospital!
