In this moment when I feel scared and threatened, when my neighbors and friends and family have been put in the direct path of hate, I am going to try my best to keep love in my heart; that’s the only way this stops. I’m not saying it will end overnight or be easy or that it won’t happen again. I am not saying I don’t feel anger and fear and disgust and despair- I do. I am just also going to do my best to live in love, where I wish this terrorist lived, too.
