@shutterbug525 try to calm him the best you can, if he keeps having fever today I would take him in. I did with my daughter, it wasn't nothing they said soothe her. But fevers in little infants should always be looked at

I heard motrin isn't good for a baby until 1 year of age. That's what I heard, but same thing happened to my baby and I put a cool rag to cool her down and had her in a pamper only. That helps

Switch off with Motrin and Tylenol. Keep him in cooler clothes. If the fever doesn’t break by morning call your doctor to see what they recommend. If it gets worse maybe take him to an urgent care? He should be okay. We have some patients in our office that will call with that symptom as well. Usually goes away after switching between Tylenol and Motrin for a few doses.
