All my co-workers thought I was 26 or 27 years old. I asked them why and they indicated that I was very mature, bought a house, have a nice car, in the process of buying a second car, almost done with college, married, I'm a lead teacher, and have a baby. I laughed and told them I barley turned 21 in June. They didn't believe me I literally had to show them my drivers license. I can never understand once someone gets to know me why they are shocked when they find out my age. It's not that shocking I'm just doing what I have to in order to provide my daughter with everything she needs and wants. And to show her that a college degree is important. I was in labor with her completing a test for a class and writing an essay in the middle of contractions. If I can do it my daughter can be just as successful when she's older. Just takes determination and endless nights of little to no sleep.
