Idk what to do. My 2 year old hit the back of his head trying to lay down and cried for like 6 seconds, he was crying before hand off and on. He held his head when he hit it. He's asleep now and I don't know if he was crying because he really hurt himself or because he was just really tired and wanted to lay down. What should I do? I'm currently still sitting in his room watching him sleep making sure he's still breathing.

@lovelily no bruise and I can't feel a knot at all. He's awake now and he seems fine, he's eating and drinking and running around

When he hits his head he usually cries for a few seconds, rubs the spot, and then goes on with his day as if it never happened, sometimes right before naptime. I mean, if he hit it really hard, he's acting odd, passed out, or is vomiting, then I worry. He's never passed out or vomited, but he has gotten a goose egg before.

If he hit it really hard I'd watch for changed behavior. My boys hit their heads repeatedly all day every day lol he may just be super tired like you said.
