It goes by so fast! For me it was e adjusting to having my son. My recovery was pretty long and adjusting to breastfeeding can be stressful. Just have patience with it if that’s what you choose to do

Lean on family or friends for support. It can be overwhelming at first. Still is but I'm so used to doing it all 😅

@amouryaya09 ill be formula feeding but i think it will take tiime to realize he isn't inside me anymore, i feel like thats a weird transition.

@kambam i just live by myself with my dog, so I'm a littke worried about bills and doing everything right.

@emileewells1153, you will miss it! It’s been over a year and I still miss the feeling. One thing you can consider is that he may or may not take to the formula of your choosing. I stop breastfeeding at 3 months and started on formula. I bought 5 different ones until I found one that didn’t make him sick. He’s lactose not and can handle milk.

@amouryaya09 a lot of my friends say theyve had to go through multiple formulas and a few different diapers because of the sensitivity

@emileewells1153, I didn’t have a diaper issue but I know a lot of women have gone through different types. The formula thing sucks because it’s so expensive. If you’re able to sign up for samples so at least you don’t have to spend too much.

@emileewells1153 definitely lack of sleep like all the time. Make sure to sleep when she does during the day! Its overwhelming adjusting to taking care of someone 24/7 and doing the most. I just now am able to do sort of like a schedule with my baby and I have a routine throughout the week. I also formula feed so that's every couple of hours, I know she takes like 3 naps during the day. I boil her binkies and bottle nipples every other day, and she gets a bath on every 3rd night before bed. But newborns don't have a schedule, that's just something to look forward too. The first few weeks, they pretty much do what they want lol. But definitely try to find support, you're gonna need it more so mentally and emotionally than physically. Try to pace yourself and remain calm, it can become frustrating at times. But enjoy every moment, cuz they grow up fast!! You got this mama💖💖😊😊 I'm a single mom too, so I understand!!
