Hubby had his vasectomy done today... they actually had me just stay in the room while they did the procedure! Which I was surprised by... mostly I just Crocheted... but it was interesting talking to and watching the doctor work. In a few months we will know if it was successful! 👏😁

@momma_unicorn, Yeah, I brought my crochet project, because I expected to wait in the lobby... but they said that if he wanted me in the room I could stay... my husband wanted me to be in there, so I did... I was not sure how good I would be in there, so I crocheted! 😅 kept my mind focused else where... lol but as far as the actual procedure, he had local numbing done, and his doctor does a tiny bit of anesthesia through an IV not enough to put them out, but enough to make them calm, and as relaxed as possible... the doctor really took his time and it was still done in about 30 minutes... he said last night that there was not ‘pain’ but a dull ache up the groin area, as he says, it’s not like actually getting kicked in the nuts, but afterwards the dull ache you would have... this morning he says there is a little swelling so he is waddling a little when he walks... but still no pain really... he has been taking 600mg of ibuprofen about every 6 hours to help reduce swelling... and other than when he was sleeping he’s been icing for about 20 minutes every hour... so overall he said it has not been bad... he’s working from home today, and plans to go to work tomorrow
@momma_unicorn, any time! He said today he still has not had any pain... it’s just a tiny bit swollen, so it makes sitting, standing and walking a little awkward... and staying in one position too long made him a little uncomfortable... but he said it was just more like pressure, no pain!
