We started on similac advance and it was making little man constipated. We switched to gerber gentle and it’s wonderful. If this new formula doesn’t work for him I recommend gerber.

@db413, he was on enfamil newborn when we left the hospital because he wasn’t latching on anymore. It was easy on his stomach and he only woke up every 3-4 hours to eat and was making regular bowel movements and wasn’t as gassy then I got on wic and they gave him Similac Advance and unless I use a q-tip he won’t poop but has bad gas.... I’m trying the Similac sensitive but now he won’t burp and slowed down his gas but still won’t poop.... so I’ll try the enfamil infant in the morning when we go get it to see if that helps switching back

@mitiacarolina3, it will take a few days maybe even a week before you notice a complete difference. Wic in Wisconsin covers gerber gentle so it may where you are too.

@db413, I’ll ask when I take him in... hopefully they actually try to help and not just give him sample formula

@mitiacarolina3, unfortunately it’s just a trial and error with formula. It may take a while to find which one works for you guys.
