Its true. Family is just a word. I have 2 sisters who live not even 30 mins away & 1 didnt even care to visit me in the hospital. She was too busy hanging out with cousins who came to visit. Whats shocking was my cousins didnt even come with her to visit. They kept saying dont worry once they leave theyll have time. But they came once after that for an hour. No help, no offering to get me anything. I asked if they can pick me up some groceries & ill pay & they said no. Im beyond hurt but not surprised. U have to do everything urself & not depend on them bc when time comes its u & ur kids that what matters. Dont worry u can always vent to us here
