A mother's love is incomparable. We're on the verge of homelessness, having to get rid of our pets who are like family, selling everything that's not a necessity, dealing with my mom's depression, my sister's depression and suicidal thoughts, and my mom moping over her breakup...so I get to get a 2nd, possibly a 3rd, job to support us and get a house. A mother's love, right? I'll sacrifice sacrifice my time with Samira for our benefit. ..just glad I have a good friend and coworker willing to watch her when I do :/

My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?
My world stopped
I was changing the laundry over and my husband went to use the restroom. Our 20 month was in the room with our 10 year old and climbed up on the bed and fell, face first, landing on her head. Our bed is three feet off the ground and our son said she was standing up, so roughly a five foot fall. I ran into the room and she was unresponsive. She didn't take her first breath for 45 seconds.
