Alright so they wanted me to get the shot for whooping cough and it's recommended to do before 36 weeks.. And that's exactly what I am but my town does the shot threw Wic, and when I moved here I lost my Wic and have reapplied since but they are taking their sweet ass time getting me in... Does this mean I can't get the shot now?... Will the baby be okay without it?

@slewis1526 its not gonna be the end of the world if you don't get it right now either. You can get it right after you give birth too. Tell your doc to shut the hell up.

You can always go see if the Walgreens or CVS around will give you the shot. That’s where my husband got his at.

It was never even mentioned to me with my first daughter. Now wic keeps mentioning it this time around.

You can get it after the baby is born while in the hospital. I got it after delivery with my first, didn't get the shot with my second child(who is perfectly healthy) got it at 32 weeks pregnant this pregnancy.
