How did you ladies take the pacifier away from your toddlers?? My son doesn’t use it all day, only for bed time and nap time but I wanna take it away completely. 😩

I didn’t. I let them have it at home when upset and at bedtime and they’re 2 and 3. LOL although, they e agreed to send their “beeps” to Santa in exchange for a special Big boy Christmas gift.

It was hell taking my daughters away. I think she was 2. Maybe 2 1/2 she finally jus threw it down one day and never picked it back up.

My kids only took it for about a week and spit it out and never would take it again when I tried to give it to them.

If that’s the only time he uses it, I wouldn’t push it. Only because it could be security for him. I just stopped giving my kids theirs around a year old. They never missed it. But neither were very attached to it. My daughter is five and sucks her thumb but only when she’s upset or uncomfortable so I let her do it.
