I get along well with my Alec’s dad, and I like him and his girlfriend, but sometimes it bothers me…
I get along well with my Alec’s dad, and I like him and his girlfriend, but sometimes it bothers me that Alec has to wait until 1 in the afternoon for his dad to come get him just because his girlfriend likes to sleep in. It’s his weekend with him, and he’s supposed to be sleeping at his house from Friday until Sunday, but instead he just takes him out for the day, because he lives at her parents house. You’d just think he would want to get up early and spend the day with him. Alec loves his dad and it’s really hard for him to wait that long when he knows it’s his day to see him. He’s up and ready to see him at 7am. There has been times when they msg me at 11 and they they are coming. Then an hour later say that his girlfriend decided to have a shower, and somehow that takes three hours!

you are too kind God bless your soul 🙌.. He does not respect your time. It's as if he is taking your kindness for weakness. What I you have an appointment or somewhere to go, that means you and hubby and kids have to wait on them 😬.. oh hell no.. If he cannot respect the times given let him come and find none of you home. Its probably hard for your little guy but imagine this continues for years to come. You need to get his father disciplined in a routine that's consistent for Alec your 🏠. @alecandfrankiesmum

@starting_over39, lol it does get annoying, like I’m supposed to wait around for him because they have this fun single life, and what I do doesn’t matter. I honestly can’t imagine even sleeping past 7am. How can they sleep until 1pm when they know Alec is sitting here waiting. It’s just terrible parenting. Today they took him for two hours. I wasn’t even home when they dropped him off, my hubby was, he should be watching him on his days not matteven though he doesn’t care.

Exactly my point.. I would start surprising their @sses lol.. you guys go out and tell them once they have Alec that "oh by the way we won't be home until later on" you guys need to be more assertive and it's really not fair to your son. If you can't do it for y'all do it former sweet Alec.. ppl tend to take kindness for weakness so you gotta be a little bitch at a time as such 😉

@starting_over39, I was thinking about telling him he has to be here to get him at 9am or not at all. If he was at his house he would be up at 7, so I don’t think that’s unreasonable.

Definitely and drop off time too.. and since he's at grandparents home even better. They are his step grandparents (it's a package deal) he shouldn't change visitation hours unless it's work related but I not no way..the step grandparents should understand as parents themselves and if their daughter was to become pregnant by him they would expect the same treatment 😉 @alecandfrankiesmum

@starting_over39, her dad hates my son, and doesn’t try to hide it, I don’t think they like their 22 year old daughter having a child in her life. It’s shocking to me that they would live there for that long.
