OMG. When I left my ex, I left my internet modem there so he could play shows for the dog while nobody was home, since I was taking the tv box. (Stupid, I know). I’ve been asking him for months to return my modem and have the bill put into his name, as the company charges like a $200 some odd dollar fee for an unreturned modem. Total bullshit. Of course he hasn’t gotten his lazy ass to the store to return it even tho he told me just a few weeks ago he bought a new modem. I’ve even offered to have a box sent to him so he doesn’t even have to go to the store but he said he would do it Monday. 3 Monday’s ago now 😒. I messaged him the other day threatening to have the shit shut off (which I can’t actually do cause I can’t afford the fees), and he has the audacity to tell me that he has a lot on his plate. Mother fucker what?! I’m due in less than 2 fucking weeks now and have no clue what to do next. He’s an hour away from where I’m living now so I can’t very easily go just pick it up. Not that I’d want to see his ass anyway. He’s still paying the bill in my name (which makes no sense to me because it’s in MY name), so why can’t he just put it into his name?! Literally the laziest person I’ve ever met. I can’t wait until this is fully taken care of so I can finally truly close that awful chapter of my life. UGH.
