I am in need of some Mom Tricks! My little girl is sick (she is 1 1/2) has been throwing up since yesterday. Dr says it’s just a virus and has to run its course but to watch for dehydration.
My problem is that I can’t get her to eat or drink anything! She has had less than 1 supply cup of liquids and 2 bites of a banana since yesterday early evening. She just cries if I hand her a cup to drink something. Does anyone have any tricks they use to get little ones to take in some fluids???

Liquids include popsicles. Give her some ice, juice milk, water with a bit of sugar in it. Try some non caffeinated sleepy time tea. If your really having troubles with it get her some pedialyte it’s the next best thing for her if she’s not going to eat or drink anything also try some saltine crackers. Usually a hit with kids that don’t want to eat

I just took my daughter a few weeks ago to the doctor for the same reason I had a lil table full of her favorite snacks that she'd just go and grab, and the doctor told me to try and give her pedialite with a syringe, if that didn't work to try Gatorade, it seemed to work she wouldn't eat a full meal but snack a lil here and there

Liquids can even be popsicles. Does she like those! Don’t try to get her to eat. Just try to force fluids
