@lovelily, I try drink as much as possible but it don’t seem to help. When I eat big meal, it starts the contractions up or waking up starts the contractions

@latina.mama, it’s not comfortable at all, it happens 24/7. I drink water period but they always finding excuses to say I don’t drink any water period. They always blowing my veins when taking blood from me. They blame it on water. I actually just have small veins.

@latina.mama, only relief they can give me is taking baths& medicine. I love baths but I’ve gotta big enough where it hurts sitting in a tub & I’m not big on medicine

@latina.mama, they run every test so I can’t complain but I rather them figured something out then my body going through stuff and they don’t know why but that’s mysterious we sign up for when we carry a baby for 10 months. Not knowing why we crave something disgusting or why we cry over the simplest things.

Contractions or braxton Hicks are caused by dehydration. I went through it with both of my boys, but I ended up delivering both of them early because my water broke. They suggest Gatorade or powerade because it has more electrolytes to help with dehydration. You may think you are drinking enough but your body could be feeling different. You are supposed to drink at least half your body weight in water per day, which I doubt anyone actually does. I have little veins too, but what causes them to blow is being dehydrated because it makes them even smaller.

@mami3st2011, I be forgetting about Gatorade & they told me that yesterday. They told me most my complications come from carrying big baby & not having enough support for my belly

@h_mother0322 to be honest I don't even believe them anymore when they say a baby is "big" don't get me wrong your baby may be big. But they told me both my boys were big and measuring 2-3 weeks bigger and my oldest was 4lbs 15 oz at 35 weeks and my younger son was 6lbs 10 oz at 35 weeks but I was on insulin 5x a day with him. I can't carry to term, but I have extremely difficult pregnancies as well.

@mami3st2011, they told me my first son was measuring a week ahead. He came out 8lbs like they told me, these pregnancy my son weight is just measuring over, everything else is measuring normal. Which I understand because my boyfriend whole family is Big & Tall. All the boys look like they was born athletics

@mami3st2011, I was able to gain weight my first pregnancy to support my belly. These time I can’t gain weight for som reason If I was eat a whole thanksgiving dinner, my body would still burn most of the calories before it could turn into fat

@latina.mama, thank you & I’ll probably feel better once I have the baby. I just pray he cause his father hell like he did me the whole pregnancy

@h_mother0322 my oldest son I had gained 80 lbs. My second son I gained 30 and I lost 40 lbs after my first and I lost 53 lbs after my second. And I haven't gained a single pound with this baby but I feel hugeeeee! So with this baby I was about 20lbs over what I was with my first son. And they were little! Lol. I hope after this one I will be about to where I was before pregnant with my oldest! But we will see what she decides to do to my body lol.
