Yes, I have 6 that ride the bus and their is the youngest of 5. I started when they are going to 2nd grade so then you can explain to them what they are doing and experience. After that we went out to get ice cream to celebrate their first day at school. Don't worry, I would encourage them and don't ever leave that love from you and your child.

@kelseychapman13 keep reassuring him and tell him why. You would be surprised how much they know. And make it a good experience

@kelseychapman13 I know. You can get through it. All moms are nurveous at first. Go somewhere after he gets off. Whether it's the two of you or your whole family to celebrate because he made a huge transition in life.

My boy's have rode the school bus since they were in Pre-K and that was at the age of 4 year's old... My boy's are now almost 9 and 8 and still ride the school bus home and sometimes in the morning they ride the school bus..... @kelseychapman13
