If some members of your family never come to your events when you send them invites, and don't even RSVP, would you go to their events? My answer is no. Not out of spite. I understand people get busy, or may not have the funds to travel. But all it takes is a text/email/call. So I've stopped sending invited to these family members and I really don't talk to them. I don't have time to make time or use energy on people, who obviously don't care. No bitter feelings, I just can't. Lol. What are your thoughts? @orionsmomma I love me a wedding too, but I don't have to time, want, or energy to be fake. I wish them luck. That's it. They didn't reach out to let me know they weren't coming, but they know how to text to get my address for a wedding invite.
Omg! My cousin did the same. He lives out of state from me. So I kind of understood. Until I found out he was in town but for something else. Now he’s getting married in June and everyone is begging me to go. Like, WHY should I? Lol
@orionsmomma But my cousin just tried to invite me to his wedding. Reached out and everything, I didn't even have his number saved. Didn't reach out when I sent invites for my baby shower and my sons 1st bday. I'm not spending money for their wedding. Boy bye.
I’m the same way lol. And those same people who never show up, I didn’t invite them to my baby shower and everyone got mad. Like, why? Y’all never come anyway.
