I carried for one day shy of 42 weeks. I gained 60lbs total during my pregnancy. The entire week before I gave birth, each day was over a hundred degrees outside. I was fat. Swollen. Exhausted. And in major physical pain. Couldn't even look at water without getting heartburn, and my acne was out of control.

I get it. You're miserable.

But that baby is more important that anything else in this entire world: let them be. Only induce when medically necessary!

You have ONE JOB: grow that baby until that baby is good and ready.

Estimated due dates are just that - ESTIMATED.

You may think you're 38 weeks, but really, you may only be 36. Do you know just how much growing and changes happen to the infant in the last few days? A lot. Research it! It's crazy how much good can come of carrying until full term. So, why not just embrace the fact that you're able to do what many women would literally kill for. Thank GOD above that you've made it this far, and thank your lucky stars your body is capable of such a wonderful thing!
