Does anyone know how to get a 1 year old to poop my daughter has been constipated all day today and hasn't pooped sense…

Have you tried getting the blockage out with you fingers I know it's gross sounding but I had to do that with my baby cousin and she felt better after I got the blockage out she cried for 3 days because she was horribly constipated

my peditrician said sometimes you need to take a qtip with vasoline on it and insert it in the rectum (only the tip) to get their bowels moving. My daughter has to take suppositories to help her poop when she is constipated.

@stellamadigan81 have you tried putting her in a tube of warm water a little over her belly and letting her sit there for a bit? Also, take her Temp via her rectum (this sometimes stimulates the bowl). Pear juice sometimes works. Do the bicycle with her legs pressing them against her belly.

@snarfyk tried the tub pear juice dont work on her I tried and tried the rectal temp and she got her year shots yesterday
