Sounds like you blew a fuse. You need to replace it. Check your fuse box

Mine was outside in the back of our house on the opposite side of our water meter. But they could be in a closet or where the water heater is. It could be many places.

It could also be in the laundry room

One of those panels has the fuses in it. And you will see one flipped if something is wrong.

@kclaireeabbey usually they don't blow they just flip which just means you have to flick it back on. Shouldn't need an electrician just need to get it open somehow

See how its to the right and all the others are to the left? That's how you can tell it was "flipped"

@kclaireeabbey then it might be blown. Sounds like you do need an electrician. Try flicking it back to the right. Then try to flip it to the left again. If that doesn't work you might have to call an electrician
