Soooo I get home from work and my brother tells me that the baby had a accident. Me thinking oh!maybe pooped to her back. Well no!! We put the cats food up high so she can’t grab it and put it in her mouth. Well she must have shoved into the cabinet and it fell on the back of her head. Question is should I go to the ER. Or see how she acts ? Mom said it’s not a big deal. But I thing this is a huge fucken deal!!! We’re talking about a 11 month old here. I’m so upset. Like wtf weren’t you watching her!!! That’s what i pay him for.

How heavy was the cat food? Was it like 20lbs or like 5lbs? How long ago did it happen?
You could always give the doctor a call and see what they recommend.
I swear my son uses his head a battering ram. He clocked himself in the face with his wheelbarrow today, the other day he ran headfirst into the rocking chair.

@nomli, it was a ceramic cat bowl maybe 5 lbs. it happened almost an hr ago. Theres no vomiting no rolling of eyes. She’s acting normal! And there doesn’t seem to be a big bump! She has tons of hair so wondering if that lessened the impact.

It could've. Or it could've hit something else before her head, or even like slid down and only hit a little bit. She should be okay, especially if there's no symptoms, but I know how much I worry when he hits his head. If going to the ER would make you feel better, there's no harm. We try to avoid the ER if possible, but we've called his pediatricians office many times.
At 8m my son fell and hit his head on the corner of a side table. Big goose egg. I was more upset and way more traumatized than he was.
