Peds doc confirmed that he has an upper lip tie (not a tongue tie), but they dont clip those here,…

My son was as well..... His recommendation was to suck on a passifier and bottle untill till he was 3..... Those two things helped his lip to streach out and fix its self..... @angylynn22

@adamsgurl that sounds like a good long term plan but how did you breastfeed ? its painful everytime i put him on and i can see where he's pinching when i take him off

@beebaby how did you feed baby until she got it fixed ? or howd you make it more comfortable?

@angylynn22 my son saw a dentist as well.... He knew more... Said if it wasnt fixed that way by the time he was 5 then he had to have it surgically cut... :/... .. But as for the breast feeding thing i honestly only did it for 3 days... I know its supposedly "easier"... But i worked 50 hours a week... I didnt have time for all that....

@adamsgurl yea see thats the problem . i wont be able to breastfeed him if its not fixed, and i am absolutely breastfeeding him

@beebaby that sounds terrible !! the LCs havent been very helpful for the most part...just keep telling me basic tips but i've breastfed before so i already know what theyre saying and i know its NOT working and it doesnt feel right. they dont seem to understand that
