I know you might not want to hear it but possibly its time to wean him? You did amazing by going this long. But you need to think about your own sanity.

@believeinbuddha, I don't even know how! It is most definitely time to wean, I am over it. I dread every second of it. I wish my milk would just dry up!

When I warmed my two youngest off I would refuse to nurse during the day- keep them busy with fruits and veggies in between meals. Then at night rock them until they fell asleep and put them down in crib. Honestly my youngest would wake up and I would rock him until he went down or just flat out ignored him and he would lay back down to sleep. Wish you the best two babies is tough but not always. It will be easier once you get lil man into a night time routine I promise.

@esther.ibarra85, thank you, I just pray that he weans soon or my milk dries up. I know it would help the routine ALOT, and possibly help us with the cosleeping situation as well. If he would sleep through the night before the new baby gets here, I would be ecstatic!

That’s when I know I need to wean. Just start taking away a feeding every couple days. I always save bedtime feeding for the last to wean from since it was my babies favorite and hardest to give up. I also would offer my boys bottles of milk so they could still suck for comfort. My boys didn’t want to wean but I just told them no more mommas milk and there were tears but after a couple days they accepted it and it is so worth it when your in the place that you are in right now. You should be proud of how long you nursed and there is nothing wrong with taking a break before new baby comes:)

What my mother did with me was leave me with my grab parents. It was actually their idea to have them there and they didn’t want my mom near me for some days after that I was with the bottle and didn’t want her boob any more. Now I’m trying to get my baby used to the bottle too at first she was used to both bottle and boob but I started to give her my boob more and she don’t want the bottle no more 😫 it sucks since I might start school some time in some months and I need her to get the bottle too. Try your best and get him used to the bottle. When she’s hungry at the end she has no choice but to get the bottle. If she don’t get it and she’s crying a lot I give up and give her my boob but she does kinda get it. Just try something out or ask a doctor how you can do it.

Have you spoke to the doctor? If so and they said it was "normal" maybe you should seek different opinions. My son falls asleep when he's tired even when we are watching tv.

My son never drank from my boob. But ever since we found out I was pregnant, he constantly wants to sleep on or around them. He’ll try to touch them to fall asleep and I have to constantly tell him to stop. He stopped sleeping by himself as well. He doesn’t want his dad at night at all. Sometimes I have to let him cry when I get up to use the restroom. 🙄

My son Baby Mac is still breastfeeding my goal is 3 years old and we just found out that we are expecting 🤰🏼 twins so it may be difficult but you did a outstanding job I salute you mama stay strong 💪🏼
