I am livid right now. I complained to my landlord that there was mold in my apartment, because I left Birthday decorations up for both my kids birthdays because they are only a few weeks apart, and when I took them down they where covered in mold. Asked if they could test for mold in my apartment, and they just came to my door, and told me they are not going to do anything about it, and we have to move out. Every time I have a problem in this building they try to evict me, it’s not my fault the building is crap. This is my sons home, I’ve lived here for six years, and never missed rent once.

Call the health department , give them something in writing stating your concerns . If they can’t follow through go to court . Then they can pay for your move . Seen it done ! When you do it in writing send them a certified letter so they have to sign for it. Then they can’t say they didn’t know of the issues

@mamabearof2, thanks, next time I talk to them I’m going to videotape it. They say the most ridiculous things. I wrote them a letter to complain, but that’s a good idea I’m going to call the city and hopefully they test for mold

Get it tested quickly.
Mold is no good even for a short period of time .. you all are inhaling it currently 😔

@tlistboom, I know I’m really worried because I’ve lived here for so long. Who knows how long it’s been here. Even if I test it though, they won’t fix it unless the city makes them

Yup go to the city.. write a registered letter to your landlord express post with tracking number. Then you could file an application with landlord and tenant tribunal.

@starting_over39, yea on Monday I’m going to call the landlord and tenants board, and the city. Hopefully the city will come and do the testing. Then they will be forced to fix it

@alecandfrankiesmum, take pics and videos of all damage and or mould, call the tenant board and health inspection ppl and if you really wanna make noise call CP24 lol

Write them and register the letter because you asked verbally and they usually need it to be in written form.. when ever you bring the media into it results tend to appear. 😂 @alecandfrankiesmum @sashie
