I said i would try to go natural, but the contractions were too much! When i finally gave in and let the nurse know i wanted the epidural i was filly dilated and ready to push.and guess what....i survived! Lol im alive to tell everyone that it can b done
I had natural births with both my boys. My labors were 5 and 3 hours and I couldn't get an epidural with either, which was fine because I went in wanting a natural birth. It's definitely possible to do if that's what you want!
@ib.crazyskittles18, sure but that could be in part because I did them naturally. Epidurals are known to slow labors. Regardless I didn't find myself asking for an epidural even at the end and could probably have lasted longer. Women have been doing this for millennia before epidurals were around and they all managed it.
@cailea.lester not all managed it dying during childbirth was quite a higher risk back before medical technologies but i get what youre trying to say, also depends on the person some people are better at coping with pain etc
@ib.crazyskittles18, not everyone who gets an epidural survives childbirth either. I'm just saying women are capable of having natural births and I like to think the length of my labors isn't the only reason I was capable of having my sons naturally.

I said the same. I have a high pain tolerance. Screamed for epidural 😭 if you can do it, more power to you.

That's what I'm going for period not going to rule out epidural though
