Any moms on here live with there parent in laws. Gone thru with there mother in law who took over…

I lived with my mother in law when I had my son, once he was 2 months old she always wanted him sleeping in her room, at first I let it happen but as he got older I told her no that he couldn’t. Finally at 6 months I stopped letting him because I didn’t want him to think she was his mom I’m glad my son didn’t get to attached to her I’m thinking because I breast fed and always had skin to skin contact..but yes she was trying/still is acting like my son is hers 🙄🙄 and we already moved out. With my second kid I’m not letting that happen again!!

She also always wants to do thing with my son without asking like for his birthday or holiday she’s like “I wanna do this with him and take him here” but always when we already have plans as a family just me my son and his dad.

@momma_bear will she interfered on me trying to spank my child for what she did.

@cassi.xoo Oh the fucked up part about this is since we live with her she always wants to have Christmas day with her and we live with them and my kids never get to see my family at all and we do Christmas in the afternoon as a family and my husbands mom throws a fit about it well I want to have Christmas morning with my grandkids and I'm like ok we live with y'all what's wrong having Christmas with my family.

@momma_bear right and I didnt get no bond with my oldest she took it along did to but I have nothing against the bond with daddy that's what I wanted between them two but with Nana and not me where she didnt want me to put her to sleep or anything she only wanted nana and it hurt me emotionally. I'm praying with my second girl I hope I get the mamas girl with her I mean I have that bond with her since we did the bonding at the hospital I want her more attached to me where she drives me crazy but in a good way like how my first does to her grandmother I want that with my baby girl.

@momma_bear she says she's not trying to but we will see on how long that will last her trying to not tell me how to be a parent towards my girls. Since I didnt get a bond with my first born I'm trying to do things with her even while I have her sister.

@momma_bear I hope not cause I feel like I have but the more I want to do things with Nana always has to be in the picture and when I tell her that she's not going to be with us she sounds so sad and I feel hurt so I ask her what you don't want spend time with your mom or your and dad. Or your other grandmother and then she asks when can go back home or I miss Nana or I can't wait to see nana and its like what's wrong with grandma and oompapa don't ask lol or rummy and papa. Its like my parents don't let her get her ways they put there foot down and discipline her when she needs it.

@momma_bear yea hopefully by next year we can move out but right now we can because since I had my second baby the job that I have since I'm part time doesn't pay you while out so I've missed two pay checks I get paid monthly and I won't get back on track until next month on November I will be getting Octobers payment.

@amelliaholmes1457, She needs to understand that you have your family still that you want to see and that they want to see their grandkid too. With us we take turns so if we go to his family’s Christmas first this year then we go to my parents first next year, but we always make sure we go to both of them
