Abnormal pap result can that mean something bad all I've been doing right now is balling my eyes out…

Don’t stress too much. There can be a wide range of abnormal, and most women have an abnormal result sometime in their life. I work at a gynecology clinic in a cancer hospital, so we see this every day. Most often, they just do more frequent Pap smears. Sometimes they take a small sample of tissue to double-check the results.

I went through this almost 5 years ago, all you can do is pray, even for as scary as it is 😔 I know what you are going through all too well if you need someone to talk to or ask questions in here!

I've actually had a dr tell me that it's VERY common for women to get an abnormal pap while pregnant and a lot of times it's nothing ! Try to relax mama everything will be ok ! Praying for you 🙏🏽

@mrsbustamante, oh I know it will be just fine. They might even wait until you have your precious baby, then do another Pap smear in two or three months. You’ll both be just great!

I had an abnormal pap during pregnancy with my first and was said to be a high chance of cervical cancer. So then, they waited until after I gave birth and then I had another. That one also came back abnormal. I went back in a year and had another, which came back as normal and then normal this pregnancy as well. It's nerve wrecking to hear an abnormal result on any test, but try to relax. Stress isn't good for you or baby. Take it one day at a time.

I've known a couple of ppl that have abnormal paps consistently and there wasn't ever anything wrong.
