Just read an article about an autistic teen who was super smart and kind etc. killed himself because he liked a girl and asked her if they could start seeing one another, and she told him he was worthless and had no future. That just breaks my heart! Kids are so cruel these days. She didn't have to put him down and be vicious. She could of nicely said she wasn't interested in dating him but they could be friends. Smh. I went to college with a higher functioning autistic guy and he's super social and everyone loves him. he's a little awkwArd but I see him all over and am friends with him on social media and I always say hi when I see him out. This world is so awful these days.

@tiinii, I know it reflects back on the parents! It's a shame! I feel for all these poor kids that get so bullied that they believe these things people are putting them down about 🙁

My oldest daughter is mildly autistic and bullying really worries me. I'm like terrified of people being mean to her. And I just started watching the good doctor and it makes me cry every episode because it makes me sad for her that she might go thru life being treated differently 😖

@tiinii, I totally agree! All I can do is teach my son right. And if someone wants to mess with him, they will have to deal with all my wrath and it won't be pretty!

@believeinbuddha, that’s my fear too. That’s why my second child who’s autistic works out with momma, and that’s her choice. My four year old lifts 5 pounds weights with me, and works her legs. Also she doesn’t take well to people doing her wrong. Only thing I have to worry about, is getting called to the office because she kicked someone ass.
