My son's homework makes me want to punch someone in the face.
It's 1st grade. They're just learning how to read this year. But there are word problems in his math homework are above his reading level. So I have to walk through every detail with him.

@tyrellp Yeah, but it's not the teacher that assigns the stuff exactly, every teacher for 1st grade sends home the same homework.

I hate homework period. They already spend all day at school, and it's not like most parents have the time to do all this work with them 😣 He has 3 math pages, a phonics page, spelling practice, a book to read, and a story out of a reading text book. Every single school night.
