Did this with both of my boys, they didn't have a bath till a day and a half!

I just discovered this during this pregnancy. My hospital encourages delaying the bath for at least 12 hours so that's our plan, God willing. Hopefully we remember to mention it

My daughter didnt get a diaper until i felt her pee on me able 4 hours later. We did skin to skin and nursing from the moment she was delivered. They weighed her about 8 hours later. I had so much privacy. I loved it

@beebaby , sorry to jump in. Did you have to specify your desire for those things as soon as you arrived to the hospital or once you had her?

I am going to do skin to skin as well ....

My son got a bath on his 2nd day @motherofthree87, we rubbed it in and just cuddled him for the longest he took a 💩 all over my stomach about 10 mins after coming out so of course we had to clean him a little and me too lol

I would if I could have the hospital lost my records and I didn't get the syphallis test back in time. So as soon as I have birth they immediately took him to get bathed I got no direct skin to skin

I did skin to skin on my babies but never this ill2 surely tell them not too
