Conversation between me and my husband and daughter yesterday!
Husband: I'm tired of having to do free work (something going on at work)
Me: I do free work every day.
Daughter: Mom you don't work! You don't have a job!
Me: I do too! I take care of you girls and this house everyday for free!
Husband: You get paid! I pay you with a roof over your head and food to eat and everything else you need!
Me: I know....but I don't get a day off like you do!
Pshhh....
I am very grateful for being able to stay at home but it's like...damn he just put me in my place 🙃

Well, we do get paid, with love. It is a shame your kid seems to think the same as your husband tho. The best payments are hugs and thank you's. The food and shelter is required of your husband, it's not a payment. Just as you are required to feed and bath your kids, when your husband is not home.
