I would like to share my birth story. It started off normal I guess. I came in got prepped. Due to my scoliosis (curve in my spine) it took a while to get the spinal tap in the right place. But once it did I felt numb from my chest down. I got on the table and once I was completely numb they brought Patrick back. Thank god he was there or else I would have had a total panic attack. He distracted me with talking about jack. I barely thought about being cut open. Then they said "and he's out!". I heard them use the suction bulb thing and then the sweetest noise... he cried. They clean him up while getting me stitched up. Doctor said something about a sticky placenta? Bam I was all done... or so I thought. I got to the recovery room and they went to press down on my uterus and an extreme amount of blood and big clots came out. I kept bleeding. They told me I was hemorrhaging and that I would need to be put to sleep so they could open me back up and stop the bleeding. If it didn't work I would need a hysterectomy, meaning jack would be my first and only child. I got in, they put me to sleep and next thing you know I'm awake in the recovery room. Everything went great. I'm fine
