Oh just try lotion! Mine did the same thing I had to keep my whole body lotioned or I would get really dry especially my boobs and they'd hurt pretty bad...when you breast feed your not suppose to use lotion there are a couple things you can use and one is lanolin for dry/cracked nipples and the other is similar but I'm not sure what the name is!

Try baby lotion! I use the purple kind... Baby's skin stay super soft so it should work over time!

I had extremely soar nipples from how hard they where. I'm finding that an extra layer like a tank top under everything is helping
