My fiance and I installed the base a few weeks ago, but we keep the actual carseat inside because we don't live in a great area and I don't want it to get stolen. We have an infant carseat though, idk if you have a convertible one or not..
We installed the base at like 37 weeks, but didn't put the actual seat in until just before we went to deliver. I didn't want to drive around with it for weeks in case we got in an accident or something....dealing with insurance to replace a carseat while heavily pregnant didn't sound fun.
