Doctor did a sweep and stretch today. I'm now 2-3 centimeters dilated, 80-90% thinned and my water…

Did it hurt??

@laciemarie, I asked her to do it while she was checking my cervix and she finished and said okay, you're 2-3 centimeters and I was like so does that mean you can do the sweep and stretch? And she said "I already did it" lol

It just feels like having your cervix checked a little longer than normal to me

@dalliesmama thank you! If i havent had this baby by thursday (my doct app) im going to ask to have it done, i was freaking out that itd hurt lol

@laciemarie, I was soooo scared it would because I've heard people say Oh, gosh it was awful and yadda yadda. It's uncomfortable at most. When she sweeps it, you'll feel her finger go around your cervix, and it feels weird. But to me it didn't hurt.

@laciemarie, no problem!! Really, the worst part of it to me is that while it's being done you get some cramps. Mine weren't really all that bad though.☺️ good luck mama!

@dalliesmama. Walkkk !! I had mine done at 11 in the morning and by 11 at night my water broke 😀

@dalliesmama lol yes movement will definitely help . i thought walking wasnt going to work cause i was having contractions the morning of the sweep and then they just stopped in the afternoon so i gave up on everything and just started being lazy .. But then she broke the water lol ..
