Mum's how much TV is okay/normal? Little man is 13 months and suddenly gotten into actually watching…

Maybe limit it to 30 minutes a day? That will give you a break, but I don't this it can harm him!

@noshinxoxo, my little girl normally watches a few hours a day, she has it on for about an hour in the morning as I get ready etc. then if we go out for the day she'll have it on for a couple of hours in the evening while I'm cooking dinner and she's playing around. I try to get out and do things during the day so then I don't feel bad putting her in front of it during the evening. It's entirely up to you though do what thinks best 😊xx

Our tv's on & off all day but mostly as background noise. It's off for mealtimes and when I see that their playing nicely I turn it off. I used to be really worried about too much tv but neither of mine sit infront of it and watch it all day so I don't worry now.

And 4days a week their at Nursery and weekend we're usually busy so it's not like it on everyday either. Don't feel bad having it's on so you can put your feet up now and then as long as your taking time to interact inbetween then to hell with what anyone else says lol. I often put Mr tumble on to give me 5mins peace 😂

@isabellaboo @sara-lou86 That's reassuring to me. We're out once every day. Stay and play twice a week, library once, errands on other days. When we're at home everyday I sit and have some sort of constructive play, building blocks, play dough, colouring etc. So with all that I know I really shouldn't feel bad for putting the TV on, either as background noise or just for him to watch. I'm just so scared that he'll turn into a Zombie. Dumb I know. And thing is it is always on for me as background noise because I hate being home alone all day in the quiet.

@noshinxoxo, I wouldn't feel bad it's nice when they'll sit and watch a program and laugh and join in, i normally have it on as background noise as well even when she's playing with toys she'll play and watch at the same time. I wouldn't worry 😊 xx
