Long Post!
Almost every morning my daughter stares at this one spot on my ceiling and she just smiles and laughs like crazy.
My husband's grandpa lived with us for around 5 years, we took him in after his wife died. He wasn't sick or anything and very active for his age. He always locked his door when he was home. But he was my oldest daughter's best friend. Back in March (the day that I found out the gender of my baby) my husband came home from work and I told him to check on him bc he hadn't came out of his room all day. That's the moment in my life I will never forget. He knocked on his door and no answer. So he had to unlock the door. I don't think I'll ever get those screams out of my head. My husband dropped to his knees. He found him dead in his room. He apparently had a heart attack while putting on his shoes. Worst day of my life! Anyways he was so close to my daughter (that's what hurt me so bad) and I just knew he was going to be close to this baby too...but he never got to meet her. The point of this post is does anyone believe that babies can see spirits? I'm not sure what I believe but I'd like to know that he's watching over her! Almost every morning she's laughing and smiling at the same spot on the ceiling! Idk...what do y'all think?

@mrsgoulding thank you! I know it may sound creepy but bc we live in a 3 bd house we eventually turned his bedroom into Lylas room and when she's in there she acts different. I see her just staring at the ceiling and always smiling in there. I think he's watching over both my girls! And I'm sorry for your loss! It's hard especially when babies are involved!

I’m sorry for your loss 😔 but yes I do believe they “visit” from time to time, my daughter started saying Apa a few months ago and not knowing until my mom heard it, that’s what she used to call my grandpa when they were younger. And she willl say it when she’s playing and looking up or at nothing. Same goes with her other great grandparents and grandfather she will talk and play with them we ask her which it is and she will say yes or no until we get to which one she’s playing with.

I am sorry for your loss. Yes I do. My oldest especially around 2 would always tell me he was talking to my Grandmom. She passes when I was 10 so he didn’t know her. One day I remember, he stood at the top of the steps and was waving and talking. I said, who are you talking to? In a joking matter, and he says, I am talking to Barb and Ray( my mom’s dad) who passed when she was little. I nearly fell over. Had to call my mom and tell her. This went on the longest time. I still feel like they are watching over them!

It is true..my dad and i were close .he passed away 8 yrs ago i saw him take his last breath . my baby says mama.dada. and aba which means father in hebrew since I'm jewish u would have to teach ur child that..i haven't my son. Resembles my dad and i believe visits i can smell his cologne at times.My dad never came to the apt i live in since he was bedridden 3 yrs before passing.My dad had a jewish name that I'll see on license plates when i miss him most.its real spirit lives on
