My son for the last 2 weeks or so has been waking up screaming bloody murder like a very terrified scream and I'm concerned as to what's going on. I made him a dream catcher tonight because he's 2 and if its bad dreams i want it to stop and my husband put salt on his window to see if that helps but I have no clue what is going on.... I wish there was something more I could do 😔😔

Salt on the window made me think of supernatural lol but I hope something helps. Poor little man

@littleonemorning I thought of supernatural too!! My husband isn't superstitious but at the same time he and I both believe kids can see things we can't because they are still young and innocent. I hope this helps because he gets sooo scared I'll go in there and he'll either be shaking or run to me and hug me tightly. It breaks my heart. 😔

@dianne1211, aw. Is he staying that maybe something is in the closet or maybe a shadow? I agree though, kids can totally see more than we can

Try doing a monster check with him. Maybe that will help and im not sure have your faith but maybe saying a prayer with him before bed time. My kids wake up like this also it's scary.

@littleonemorning he has a small lamp in his room but he's had that since he was 6 months old so idk. @chelli I'm going to try both of those thank you! And yes very scary

@dianne1211, I like chelli's suggestion too. My parents did both with me and while it was still scary sometimes, I had a little bit more comfort.

@littleonemorning well he finally fell asleep so I'm going to start this tonight and see how he does!

My son gets night terrors sometimes. Middle of the night terrified screams, and he won't know we're there. Usually after 5/10 minutes he's fine, but sometimes it'll last for a half hour or more! I mentioned it to his doctor and she said it was fairly normal, and something they'll grown out of, but there's no real cause and no way to alleviate it.
