My baby is growing fast! Doctor said he can start having rice cereal🙆🏽

I can't believe some doctors are still recommending this. Please skip the rice cereal. Plus, babies shouldn't really get food until 6 months old

@arivera64 just cause the doctor said it's ok doesn't mean I'm gonna do it right away, I research everything. Either way it's my decision what to give my son and when to do it.

Well of course. There's nothing wrong with offering someone information that they may not be aware of which is what I was doing. Sharing information.

@babyb17 guess they are, my son is breastfed which is good enough right now, plus he's about to be 4 months so hearing that caught me by surprise

@arivera64 it's appreciated, once the doctor told me that I started reading up on the subject cause I don't like jumping into things

That's good because so many moms don't realize that not all doctors are always right. If they were, there would be no such thing as people getting second opinions because of misdiagnosis etc. I'm glad you educate yourself so that you feel comfortable with the choices you make for your son. We all are just doing the best we can at the end of the day.

@arivera64 true, I had gotten shingles a week after I gave birth and the doctor guessed that it was hives until he googled it. I'm always gonna do what I have to to make sure he's gonna grow healthy cause it's not that easy these days.

Dang that sucks.
