Try gumtree? Lots of things for free, might not be brand new condition but can sometimes drop on some good items, handy if you’re just starting out until you can get something better :) x

i second gumtree, also have a look on freecycle I think it's called? people literally give stuff away for free on there.

Have you tried brighthouse? My friends credit rating as terrible but she's managed to get things from there?

@reenii, @beffgoude, @sam.l.b, Yeah i've looked around on gumtree a bit, brighthouse is an option but the interest is outrageous! It's just come at such an awkward time. I feel like i'm stressing about money, moving, baby, getting the house liveable because it's been absolutely gutted 😩like no flooring and the walls need painting/wallpapering too. 😕

I’m with brighthouse my washer broke so was desperate for another so I had to give in lol and yeah I agree about the interest but it’s just an easy option instead of paying all at once for something, hope you find something x

I know but you get what you need straight away, and it doesn't seem that bad when your paying it weekly

@sam.l.b, @reenii, my partners grandad might be able to just lend/give us the money we need to do everything. but asking outright is a horrible feeling 😩Like if we ever had a bad month we can just explain and not worry about them adding on late repayment fees or whatever yano? 😩xxx

@dhovakiinx, yeah I know exactly what you mean, they’re usually okay if you ring or call in the shop to tell them they won’t add late fees to your account, I’ve had to it a couple times x
