Question mamas--- my parents live an hr n half away frm me.. my husband is going in a work trip and wont be back till sunday-- now my question is would you go visit ur parents for a few days with a toddler and a 6week old? I just worry about my newborn i dnt want him being in someones hands all day long... if i go should i bring him a swing?bouncer? Or something like that? Even tho he hates them but maybe at least hed want to be in them for a little bit? Id aprreciate suggestions?

@beebaby, he doesnt like anythin, i mean he will do anything for 5/10mins before he starts to whine n then eventually wants out

Go and enjoy yourself. And yes bring something for the baby to lay/sit in!

So you normally hold him all day I'm assuming. I would go and not worry about it. It is only a weekend and then back to business as usual

@beebaby, it would be a few days. Maybe id even go tomorrow or wed n stay still sunday morning. Well i dnt carry him all day bt he does want to be held most of the time.. since anything i try is usually for 5/10minz n then he wants nothing to do with it

Go, I am sure it would be great for your parents and you and the children ☺️ I don't think it's anything wrong with holding him. I held my son all the time at that age.

Go momma, spend some time with your family! You could always bring something small to put him in and try it out, if not oh well, at least you tried!
