Seriously want to join the army after the baby is born. I just don't know if I can get my body is shape after 2 csection's (not sure what exercises to do) and I don't think I'm smart enough to pass the tests to get in...

Plus who's gonna look after your babies?

Hi there. The test is not that hard. You still wanna try to score high because the better you do, the better job choices you will have. Do sit ups, push ups and you have to pass a run which differs depending on ur age. Take ur time in getting urself in shape tho. Dont rush it. They will always be there. Good Luck!

@juliaschade41 my husband. He's retired army so he'll always be around for the babies.

@juliaschade41 Thank you! It will probably take a few months to get my body where it needs to be so it won't be immediately.

Good luck! I've always wanted to join the marines or the Air Force and now with a baby, I'm like dang. Maybe when she's older ☺️ it's still a dream of mine and you can definitely do it especially with the support of your husband. And like the person above me said, you do want to score high for a better job! Getting back into shape won't be a problem as long as your strict with it. The army also helps you get into shape before you leave for basic; they'll teach you the correct way to do a push-up, a pull up and sit-ups. They also build up your endurance with the running that they train you with. Over here, they train people 3x a week before they leave to make sure they're physically ready. Are you planning to go active, reserves or national guard?

@scx327 active. And thank you! And I'm going to study, well as much as you can for the test just to better my chances of a higher score

You're welcome! And yes I know what you mean, they usually give you a "pre-test" to see what your strengths are and your weaknesses so that helps a lot. And then you can study for them and then take the asvab :) the pre-test isn't that hard but I sucked at the measurement part lol

You can make it happen!!! If that’s what you wanna do, like one of the ladies said...the better your score, better your job options/sign on bonus😁. Name sure you pick something that you can do in the civilian world whenever you decide to get out of the military. I went into the army right after I had my oldest son. Left him at 3 months!!! So it was HELL for me in the beginning, that’s hard to do. My support system was great though. I had my family backing me the whole way. So it is possible. N doing that got me back in shape ASAP...
