Has anyone on here ever lived in one of those "tiny" houses? What about with a newborn and a toddler? I feel like that is the most unrealistic shit ever. Especially since he wants it on his parents land. I wish my SO would just get an apartment or a rent to own house and realize that his "plans" have to change a bit now. Waiting until fall of 2019 for me to be graduated from school, and then getting a job after that is wayyyy too long to wait and get a house if you ask me. I'll be helping with income by December when I'm working in the hospital, so I don't understand why he is so hesitant.

Wouldn't mind if it was on our own land, but I don't know much about them and how awful it would be for us all to be in such a tiny space. I feel like they're great for a couple with no kids, people who like to travel, etc. but idk about for us.

@stevie.savoie22, I agree. I mean there's no space! It's completely unrealistic in my mind. No washer and dryer, hardly a kitchen and likely no bedrooms, I mean that sounds like a special kind of hell of you have a newborn and a toddler. He says "we can wash clothes and eat at my parents and hangout there during the day..." am I crazy, or is he a complete moron!? He's driving me nuts with this. We were literally just talking and looking at houses a few days ago and they were great! Only like 700 a month. I just don't understand 😔

I hate tiny houses. I could function with just myself let alone 3 other people. The smallest I would ever go is a cottage and you can make the space an open floor plan.
