Yes! Mine broke. And when I was finally 10 cm they told me he was still high up. They literally had to massage the top of my stomach to bring him down before I could push.
With being group b positive, I'm pretty sure it's more risky to do sweeps and even plain cervical checks. Some doctors still do this, but I would do my research.
@tasharoshell, well he didn’t tell me he was doing that when he went in there. He said he was checking lol so I wouldn’t really think about it. It’s quite uncomfortable but it was very fast. A minute or less. And it was totally worth it because I definitely had my baby after that.
@tasharoshell, when I got my sweep my doctor asked me if I wanted to have the baby today and I said yes. He did the sweep and told me to go walk around and eat dinner and by then I should be ready for the hospital. Within an hour my contractions were pretty strong.
@missheatherbaby, she offered that but I don’t think she realized I’m group b positive. Don’t know if that makes a difference. So would I be able to just go Straight to the hospital after the sweep instead of waiting at home?
