My twin brother and I have different dad's... Does anybody know someone personally who is a twin and they both have different dads??
@quinayshabarnes, wow amazing story but that most of been such a struggle to come down to the real conclusion! The fact you share it as well is pretty amazing!
It's pretty cool I mean he doesn't know who his dad is and we might not live together no more but my dad has always treated him like that's his son bc even if biologically he isn't he still is the only dad my twin has ever known
It's crazy bc I think my mom thought we had the same dad until she went to prison when we were 4 and wanted to put my dad on child support he didn't even know he had a kid by her until he got a thing in the mail saying they needed blood work to confirm that he was but he lived in a different state at the time so they just had him go to the place where he lived and sent the results over he was extremely shocked when he found out he had "twins" bc he was and still is married at the time and then once the test results came back only saying one of them was he's my mom and my dad we're heart broken I think they went to 3 different dna places to confirm that the results were true
And umm tbh I don't know if we have different dna thought everybody did unless twins have some the same lol I've never been asked that before I'm guessing we do like different genetics and stuff the only thing we share is our moms genetics either wise he has his dad whoever that is and I have my dad's
@taylorsmommy10817, not to say it can't happen like that but the article I read said differently either way blows my mind!
Yea u can cause it was this one couple that got pregnant and then about 2 weeks later got pregnant again both babies were healthy and born on the same day they just told them they were twins cause they kinda are even tho they were conceived 2 weeks apart
@quinayshabarnes, I'm so curious now so stupid question but you and your brother have different DNA then?
@quinayshabarnes, I looked it up very interesting to hear it's called heteropaternal superfecundation right ??
It can only happen with fraternal twins so like 2 boys fraternal or two girls fraternal or like my twin and I make and female twins as long as they are fraternal it's possible but it's just not something everybody's hears about
Alot of people don't like my doctor didn't even know that's possible and alot of other doctors and nurses I talk to didn't either bc they weren't taught that it is possible so Everytime I tell someone they think I'm lying I'm like no it's just a rare thing
Lol I mean I've had people ask me a million times how it's possible and stuff like that bc nobody really knows about it so I like sharing something that makes me unique from most twins it's pretty cool talking about it
