if you have been induced how long did the process take?

It took 10 hours from when they started Pitocin to when she arrived with my first and Almost 11 from when they started Pitocin to when I had my second.

@allaboutsyd I don't believe so, it was my 2nd son and they just gave me the option of inducing om due date if I didn't have him already.. I was so.uncomfortable, contracting for sure but not enough so I took the option. Went in at 5am, they started the pitocin about 630/7, broke my water an hour after maybe and had him a little after 11

@allaboutsyd with my 1st my water broke @2am.. got to hospital by 4am.. think I was barley 1cm, they soon started pitocin got the epidural this time and it slowed everything down but I had him around 1 that afternoon

It depends on your body and how your body takes the pitocin. My first induction was 12 hours my 2nd was 8 hrs

@allaboutsyd I was induced a month ago at 42 wks. 34 hours, 8.5 hours of actual pushing, ended up having an emergency csection at 3:30am. Our daughter was born at 4:09am. Well worth every second.

I was induced Feb 20th around 8 pm..didn't have him until Feb 23 12:36 am. Long process for me.

It took me five damn days the only thing that kept me going was my baby as long as she was ok I was fine but very exhausted
