I would never co-sign for anyone. My husband said he wouldn't either. If a child was involved I would take the child provide everything for the child, allow the mother to see the child whenever. But I wouldn't ask the mother for any money so she could get her life together. My responsibility is the child not a grown adult.

@babynessa, I agree with you. Some baby mamas have no shame or heart when the man is struggling and he tries to be there for his kids and provide for them.

No. Co-signing with someone for anything is something really risky and one little f**k up can screw up your credit as well as theirs. If the mom is in a position where she can’t get her own place then she needs to either let the kid go be with the dad for a while so she can get she crap together or stay with a family member to get on her feet enough to be able to do it on her own. If she can’t get a house then she should get an apartment. I deal with a baby mama and I can not STAND her and her entitled ass(sorry 😂) so no I wouldn’t let my bf co-sign for anyone and I wouldn’t co-sign for anyone.
